Dr. Brenda Cohen was born in Dallas, Texas. After a stellar college preparatory education she was offered and accepted an academic scholarship to attend Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Following completion of her undergraduate degree Dr. Cohen attended the California College of Podiatric Medicine earning her Doctorate in 1995. Dr. Cohen then spent the next two years in Florida completing her two year surgical residency. Following completion of her residency Dr. Cohen was offered the prestigious diabetic limb salvage fellowship at the Western Pennsylvania Hospital and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Cohen trained with top diabetic specialists from all over the country.
Dr. Brenda Cohen shares a philosophy with Precision Podiatry of providing comprehensive medical and surgical management of the foot and ankle. Dr. Cohen emphasizes conservative treatment whenever possible keeping patients active during their treatment.
Dr. Brenda Cohen is an active competitive runner having completed nine marathons. She shares a unique fellowship with her sport medicine patients, understanding that just telling someone not to run is not an option.
When not competing in marathons, Dr. Brenda is chasing after her and four children, Eden, Regan, Haylen, and Taryn.
